From Monday, June 22, 05:00 until Monday, August 3, 05:00, the A27 is closed for widening works between Gorinchem junction and Everdingen (Vianen) junction.

The works will be carried out in 3 parts. Road users should expect an additional travel time of 30 - 60 minutes.

Part 1: closure in the direction of Utrecht.
From Monday, June 22, 05:00 until Monday, June 29, 05:00, the A27 in the direction of Utrecht is closed between Gorinchem junction and Everdingen (Vianen) junction.
The Avelingen on-ramp (24) from Gorinchem towards the Gorinchem junction is also closed.

Traffic is being diverted from Gorinchem junction via the A15 and A2.

Local traffic in the direction of Utrecht is diverted from Meerkerk/Noordeloos (25) via the A27, A15, and A2, traffic from Lexmond (26) is diverted via the Oude Rijksweg to the A2.

Part 2: closure in both directions!
From Monday, June 29, 05:00 until Friday, July 17, 22:00, the A27 is CLOSED in both directions between Gorinchem junction and Everdingen junction. The Avelingen on-ramp (24) from Gorinchem towards the Gorinchem junction is still closed.

Traffic is being diverted in both directions via the A15 and A2.
Local traffic is being diverted from Gorinchem junction via the N216 and N214 or from the Lexmond connection via the Oude Rijksweg to the A2 (and vice versa).

Part 3: closure in the direction of Breda.
From Friday, July 17, 22:00 until Monday, August 3, 05:00, the A27 in the direction of Breda is closed between Everdingen junction and Gorinchem junction.

Traffic is being diverted from Everdingen junction via the A2 and A15. Local traffic in the direction of Breda is diverted from Meerkerk/Noordeloos (25) via the N214 and N216 to the A15 and then via Gorinchem junction. Traffic from Lexmond (26) can then use the A27 to the A2 and A15 towards Breda.

Public transport and alternative diversion route
The bus lines 387, 388 (Qbuzz), and 500 (Arriva) run on an adjusted schedule during the summer closure. They need to detour or have a shortened route. Plan your trip in advance and check the most current travel information on www.9292.nl.
