Does the hotel have a parking lot?

Does Van der Valk Gorinchem have a restaurant?

The hotel has two restaurants: Restaurant Loev and Restaurant Bar Stein. In Restaurant Loev, you can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and Valk Classics. Restaurant Bar Stein, on the other hand, stands out with its cozy decor and intimate corners, where you can enjoy dishes from the Josper Grill. Both restaurants offer a wide range of dishes, including seasonal specialties. Whether you're in the mood for a classic meat, fish, or vegetarian dish, our menu will surely surprise you. Additionally, we also have our Live Cooking restaurant within Restaurant Loev, where you can enjoy a breakfast buffet, lunch buffet, or live cooking dinner buffet.

Do I need to make a reservation for the restaurant?

We recommend making a reservation in advance if you want to ensure a table at the desired time. Reservations can be made via the restaurant page.

Is the reception available 24 hours?

Yes, the hotel is available 24 hours a day.

Does the hotel have a bicycle storage?

The hotel has a secure bicycle storage facility. The bicycle storage is only for our hotel guests. Additionally, you can charge your electric bicycles.

Can I rent bicycles?

As a hotel guest, this is possible. Regular bikes cost €19.50 and electric bikes cost €29.50 each.

How much are the taxes?

For a stay in the city of Gorinchem, a tourist tax of €2.30 per person per night.

Is smoking allowed in the room?

No, this is strictly prohibited. In case of violation of our house rules, we are obliged to charge a fine of €250,- and you will be asked to leave the hotel immediately.

Do you have a casino?

Yes, the casino is accessible through the hotel or from outside. The opening hours are from 09:00 to 02:00.

I have lost something in the hotel, what should I do?

We place all found items on iLost.

Lost items will be kept for a maximum of 60 days. Van der Valk Gorinchem is not liable for lost items.

When do I have to pay a deposit?

For walk-in guests without a reservation and for reservations made on the same evening, a deposit of €250.00 is required, either in cash or via credit card authorization. This rule also applies when checking in to one of our suites. The deposit will be refunded after the room has been checked upon checkout.

What are your house rules?

What does the zero tolerance policy entail?

In case of violation of our house rules, immediate removal without warning will follow. Paid amounts will not be refunded and a paid deposit may be withheld. Offenders may be placed on our blacklist.

Do I need to identify myself?

During check-in, we ask every guest to show an identification document. So if the room is for two people, we ask both guests to show their identification document. We do this for security reasons.

What are the opening hours of the facilities?

How can I pay at the hotel?

You can pay by debit card, cash, credit card, gift card.

Which gift cards are accepted?

We only accept the Van der Valk gift card.

Until when can I cancel my reservation?

Reservations can be canceled or modified free of charge up to 24 hours before arrival. Only non-refundable bookings cannot be canceled free of charge.

Have you booked through a booking site? Then everything should also be changed through the respective booking site.
