Is smoking allowed in the rooms?
No, smoking is strictly prohibited. Violating our house rules will result in a €250 fine, and you will be asked to leave the hotel immediately.

Do you have a casino?
Yes, the casino can be accessed through the hotel or from the outside. Opening hours: 09:00-02:00.

I lost something in the hotel. What should I do?
We post all found items on iLost. Lost items are kept for a maximum of 3 months. Van der Valk Gorinchem is not liable for lost items.

When do I need to pay a deposit?
A deposit of €250 is required for walk-in guests without a reservation, either in cash or via credit card authorisation. This rule also applies when checking into one of our suites. The deposit will be returned after room inspection at check-out.

What are your house rules?

What does the zero-tolerance policy entail?
Violation of our house rules will result in immediate removal without warning. Paid amounts will not be refunded, and a paid deposit may be withheld. Offenders may be placed on our blacklist.

Do I need to show ID?
We require identification for each person. If the room is for two people, we need two IDs. This is for security reasons. We will not refuse guests, but we do ask for this.

Until when can I cancel my reservation?
Reservations can be cancelled or modified free of charge up to 24 hours before arrival. Non-refundable bookings cannot be cancelled free of charge. If booked via a booking site, all changes must also be made through the respective booking site.
