Baby beds can be provided for you by the reception at an additional cost of €15,00 per night.

Bathrobes
Bathrobes can be rented for €5,- per bathrobe at the reception.

Bicycle parking
Make free use of our locked bicycle parking. There is also room for your own (electric) bicycles, so they can be kept dry and safe during your stay. You can open the bicycle storage with your room card. You can charge the battery in the available sockets.

Bikes and E-bikes
Bikes and E-bikes can be rented at the reception.
The price per bicycle is € 19,50 per day.
The price per E-bike is € 29,50 per day.

Breakfast
Enjoy a extensive breakfast buffet. Breakfast is served Monday - Friday from 06:00-10:00 am. On Saturday and Sunday it is from 07:30-10:30 am. The price of the breakfast buffet is €21.50 p.p.

Cancelation
Reservations can be cancelled or changed free of charge up to 24 hours before arrival. Only non-refundable ones cannot be cancelled free of charge. Did you book through a booking site? Then everything must also be changed via the respective booking site.

Charging stations
The parking lot has 45 electric charging stations.

Check-in
From 3 p.m. you can check in and use your hotel room. If you wish to check in earlier. please contact the hotel reception at 0183 79 99 99 or at info@gorinchem.valk.com.

Check-out
You must check out by 11:00 a.m. in the morning. If you wish to check out later, please contact the hotel reception at 0183 79 99 99 or at info@gorinchem.valk.com. 

Complaints/comments
Complaints or comments can be reported at the reception desk or emailed to info@gorinchem.valk.com. The reception will take your complaint or comment further.

Deposit
For walk-in guests without a reservation and for reservations made on the evening itself, a deposit of €250,00 is required, cash or credit card authorization. This rule also applies when checking into one of our suites. The deposit will be returned after checking the room upon check-out.

Do Not Disturb
If you do not wish to be disturbed, you can hang the “do not disturb” hanger on your hotel room door.

All emergency exits are clearly marked in the rooms, corridors and equipped with emergency lighting.

Free access to the fitness for hotel guests. The fitness is open from 06:00-23:00.

Found objects
Van der Valk Hotel Gorinchem works together with iLost. This is the central online location for found objects. Check out our page on iLost here. Through this website you can claim the found objects of our hotel. We keep the found items for 2 months in our hotel. Of course we keep precious and valuable items with us until the owner reports. Van der Valk Gorinchem is not liable for lost items.

Identification
At check-in, we ask each guest to show identification. So if the room is for two people, we ask both guests to show their identification. We do this for security reasons.

Internet/Wifi
You can use our Wifi network free of charge.

Iron/ironing board
These are available in the closet in the rooms.

Jack's Casino
One of our facilities is Jack's Casino. Experience a night out without leaving the hotel. The casino is open from 09:00-02:00. More inforamtion about Jack's Casino can be found here.

Key cards
We ask that you hand in your key cards upon check-out. Please do not hold your card too close to your phone or credit card as it may be blocked.

Kids' Corner
There is a kids' corner (Slot Lievestein) for children in the Live Cooking Restaurant.

Late Check-out
A late check-out can be requested at the front desk and is subject to availability. A late check-out is never promised at the suites due to limited availability and room cleaning time.

Laundry service
There is a laundry service available is our hotel. You can request it by calling the front desk. This is entirely at your own risk.

Lunch package
If you would like a lunch package please request it at the front office.

Parking & charging stations
Parking is available in the large parking lot surrounding our hotel. The parking lot also has several electric charging stations. Parking is free for visitors to our hotel, restaurants, Weleda City Spa and Jack's Casino. Visitors to the Vue pay €2.50 for a parking ticket. This can be paid at the cinema itself. Carpooling is also possible, the cost is €35 per day.

Payment methods/Credit conditions
We accept the following payment methods: pin, cash, credit card, Van der Valk Giftcard.

Pets
Pets are not allowed throughout the hotel. Only on the terrace are pets allowed.

Pillows/Decks
If you would like more blankets, pillows or hangers in your room, please contact reception.

Pool
Our pool is open from 06:00-22:00 for hotel guests only. Visitors to the Weleda City Spa may also use the pool for one hour.

Prohibited
The use of narcotics, such as drugs or nitrous oxide, is prohibited in our hotel. In addition, there is a strict no smoking policy throughout the hotel, including all rooms. This includes smoking in the room, out the window and the use of all types of smoking materials. If you violate the rule, we charge a fine of €250,00 and immediate removal from the hotel will follow without warning.

Public transportation
At 800 meters is bus stop Griendweg. From here bus 673 goes in the direction of Leerdam, bus 387 via the station in the direction of Utrecht and bus 387 in the direction of Dalem. Plan your trip at: www.9292.nl For more information about public transportation, please contact our reception.

The reception is open 24 hours a day and can be reached by phone at extension 9.

Restaurants
Restaurant LoeV: At Restaurant Loev you will enjoy a relaxed ambiance and Valk Classics. Opening hours: lunch from 12:00 to 16:30 and dinner from 17:00 to 21:30.
Restaurant Bar Stein: In Restaurant Bar Stein you can enjoy dishes from the Josper Grill. Opening hours: coffee & cake from 08:00, lunch from 12:00 to 16:00, drinks from 12:00 and dinner from 16:30 to 22:00.
Please note: Restaurant Bar Stein is open from 16:00 during the summer vacations (July 14 to August 29, 2025).

Reservations

Room Cleaning
Hang the 'Plant a Tree' pendant on the door and skip a room cleaning. This is the sustainable choice for your stay, as a thank you for skipping room cleaning, we plant a tree in the Valkenbos.

Room service
To use the room service, please choose from our menu. You can order room service by scanning the QR code on your TV screen. Room service is available during the opening hours of our restaurants.

Safe
There is a safe in each room and its use is free of charge. The instructions can be found in the room.

Sauna
The Wellness includes a Finnish Sauna and a Turkish steam bath. The wellness is open daily from 06:00-22:00.

Shop
In the shop next to the reception, various products and delicacies can be purchased. Various Valk items can also be found there. It is open 24/7.

Sustainability
Van der Valk Hotel Gorinchem is the most sustainable hotel within Van der Valk International. We offer our guests the opportunity to choose ‘green’ as well. We encourage guests who stay longer than one night to skip the interim room cleaning and thereby participate in our ‘Valkenbos’ program.

Taxes
A tourist tax of €2,30 per person per night and a local tax of €1,50 per person per night applies to stays in the city of Gorinchem.

Terrace
Our restaurants both have a lovely terrace where you can enjoy the sunshine.

Toiletries
Our rooms are equipped with various toiletries. Shampoo, shower gel and similar items are in the room. Other items, such as a bathing cap or cotton pads, are available upon request.

Our hotel is home to a Vue Cinema. The cinema has 6 different halls and a shop where you can choose various delicacies for during the movie.

Book a relaxing massage during your stay at Weleda City Spa. Weleda City Spa is located on the second floor of our hotel and offers various massages and treatments.

Zero Tolerance Policy
Violation of our house rules will result in immediate expulsion without warning. Paid amounts are non-refundable and a paid deposit may be retained. Violators may be placed on our blacklist.
